Three Reasons Why You Should Bible Journal

A year or so ago I got my first Bible journal. If you don't know what a Bible journal is, it's a regular Bible with larger margins. It makes it so much easier to take notes, or in my case, draw. Today I would like to talk about 3 reasons why Bible journaling can help you in your Christian walk.

1.) Bible journaling helps you dig deep into a specific verse.

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Every time I journal a verse, I make sure I understand the verse before I even touch my Bible with a writing utensil. Studying always comes before drawing.

2.) Journaling in your Bible gives peace.

“casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”
‭‭I Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Whether you're having a good day or a bad day, journaling a verse can make your day 100 times better. The same can go for "regular" studying, but there's just something different about Bible journaling.

3.) It's fun!!

I don't really know how to explain this one, you get the point. ;)
